Description here.

Course Prerequisites

  • In order to enroll in a Leasing REality Continuing Education (CE) Course, a student must be a subscriber of Leasing REality, as well as maintain a valid New York State real estate broker, agent or salesperson license.
  • Students must accurately provide the exact name, address and unique broker/agent/salesperson license number associated with its license. Please update this information in your “My Account” page before starting this course.
  • Leasing REality is not responsible or liable whatsoever for any incorrect information provided by students, including, but not limited to, and for any disciplinary action, fees or changes in license status by any regulatory agency as a result thereof.
  • Leasing REality Continuing Education (CE) Courses may be used to satisfy, in whole or in part, the licensee’s continuing education requirements, as applicable.
  • Leasing REality and AGMB Training Center Ltd. do not discriminate based on race, sex, religion, ethnic origin or disability.

Criteria for Successful Completion of the Course; Navigating the Course

  • This course is broken down into units. Each unit consists of (i) lessons, key takeaways for each lesson and a list of key terms (with their definition) found within the unit (collectively the “Course Material”), and (ii) a unit assessment to check the student’s understanding of the Course Material within that unit.
  • Certain lessons may include interactive activities and/or external links to information on external websites. If a lesson contains an external link, a student should click on the external link and read and master the content as it may be tested in the unit assessment.
  • All Course Materials must be read through, and interactive activities and unit assessments must be successfully completed, in order to proceed through and complete the course. Students MUST click the “Mark Complete” button at the bottom of each course page in order to unlock the next section of the course, except for a unit assessment which must be successfully completed as further provided for below.
  • Use the “Previous Lessons” and “Next Lessons” buttons at the bottom of each course page to navigate through the course.
  • Each course contains a Table of Contents where a student can view the course structure, track their progress and view previously completed sections of the course (including this Orientation).
  • Leasing REality’s course system has a time tracking mechanism in place to monitor a student’s course progress, which is visible to the student within the course.
  • All students participating in distance/online education must meet the minimum amount of seat time required by this New York Department of State approved course.
    • One (1) instructional hour requires at least 50 minutes of seat time. For the sake of clarity, if the course is approved for one (1) instructional hour, it is required for the student to spend at least 50 minutes of time within the course; a two (2) hour course requires 100 minutes of time within the course; and so on. The course will not be considered “completed” until the student spends the required time within the course.

Exam Information

  • A unit assessment is unlocked once the student reads through all of the Course Material, completes any interactive activities and marks all unit pages as complete.
  • Students MUST score 75% or above on each unit assessment(s) to complete the course.
  • Unit assessments reinforce concepts learned throughout each course unit.
  • Unit assessments are presented in multiple choice format. If a question is answered incorrectly, an explanation will be provided.
  • In order to receive a course completion certificate, students MUST (1) meet the minimum amount of seat time required by this New York Department of State approved course, and (2) successfully complete (i.e., score at least 75%) all unit assessments within the course.
  • Leasing REality Continuing Education (CE) courses do not contain final exams.

Course Completion Certificate

  • Prior to receiving a course completion certificate, students are required to (1) electronically submit a signed Student Affidavit attesting to the student’s identity and completion of the course, and (2) complete a course survey.
  • Once completed, student course completion certificates will be generated and be made available for download. Certificates can also be accessed in the student’s “My Account” page within the Leasing REality website.

Course Progress and Expiration

  • As required by the New York Department of State, students will have twelve (12) months to complete a course starting from the time a student clicks the “Start Course” button. Each course has an expiration date which is noted in “My Account.”
  • Please note that any course progress will be reset at the end of the student’s 1-Year or 2-Year Leasing REality Subscription period.
  • For the sake of clarity, if a student’s 1-Year Leasing REality Subscription expires on October 31, and the student is in the middle of completing a course on October 30, the student must complete the course before October 31, or alternatively renew its subscription to Leasing REality before October 31 to keep the course progress active for the rest of course term before the course expires.
  • Course completion certificates can be accessed in a student’s “My Account” page during your Leasing REality Subscription term. In the case for those students whose subscription term has expired, certificates can be accessed using your past subscription’s login credentials.

Policy on Cheating, Misrepresenting Student Identity, Fraudulent Activity or Other Violation of Leasing REality Policies

  • If a student misrepresents their identity, engages in any form of cheating, uses their account for fraudulent or unauthorized purposes or otherwise violates any Leasing REality policy, Leasing REality has the right to immediately cancel the student’s account without any refund and permanently forbid the student from completing this or any other CE Course through Leasing REality. Leasing REality’s CEO will review all pertinent facts and information before making a final determination in regards to any cancellation, dismissal and/or re-admittance.
